Camp Description: East Coweta head baseball coach Franklin DeLoach and the Indians coaching staff host the 11th annual Junior Indians Baseball Camp at East Coweta High from June 4-7. The camp will be held 9 a.m.-12 p.m., rain or shine and work will be done indoors if weather is too wet to take the field. The camp is a hands on, high-energy experience that will go over throwing, fielding, pitching, hitting and baserunning. Campers will work in small groups to ensure personal instruction to allow them to learn correct skills and techniques. The camp includes an opportunity to throw out the first pitch at an ECHS baseball game during the 2019 season.
Registration information plus payment can be mailed to EC Baseball Boosters, P.O. Box 965, Sharpsburg, Ga. 30277. It can also be dropped off in a sealed envelope to the front office of East Coweta High ℅ Franklin DeLoach.

Futsal is the fastest growing sport in the country right now as it is recognized as forging the world’s greatest soccer players. It’s fast, fun, exciting more demanding than soccer as players touch the ball up to 6 times more than they would in soccer. Info:Northgaet High School's softball program hosts its annual camp on May 29-31 from 8:30-11:30 a.m., at the field on Fischer Road across from the school. The camp is open for the ages of 5-14. Cost is $85 per game prior to May 18 or $100 after the May 18 cutoff date. Please register before cutoff date to ensure T-shirt size. Walkups are welcome. Awards will be given out daily and Awards Day for the camp begins at 11 a.m. on May 31. The Frigid Frog will be provided for campers on Awards Day. A registration and waiver form must be completed. Info: Trinity Christian’s five-time state championship volleyball program hosts Lions Summer Volleyball Camp in two sessions for rising third-eighth graders on June 11-15 or July 23-27. Camp runs from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in the main campus gym (8817 Highway 54). Campers can opt to attend one week for $100 or both for $150.

Info: The camp will help athletes build a foundation of volleyball skills or to enhance skills already in place.  Offensive skills such as serving setting, and attacking, as well as defensive skills such as passing and digging will be introduced and advanced depending on the skill of the participant.  Campers will have a great time acquiring new skills and refining existing ones, while making new friends.  Registration forms along with camp fee can be mailed to

Info: The Newnan High varsity wrestling program and the Newnan Junior Cougars are hosting the Newnan Rise & Grind Wrestling Camp from June 4-8 at Evans Middle School for ages 5-up. All skill levels are welcome and the camp will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Campers are required to bring a sack lunch, but there will be snacks and drinks to purchase daily if needed. Please note that all campers must be picked up no later than 4 p.m. A $1 per minute fee may be charged for late pickup.
