Benefit show for Coweta
high school wrestling programs
When, Where: 7:30 p.m., East Coweta High school
Event info: ACTION Pro Wrestling Presents a benefit show to support high school wrestling in Coweta County at East Coweta High School on Friday, April 26th.  General Admission tickets for adults is $10 and student tickets are $5.  Tickets may be purchased via East Coweta's athletic office, at STO's in Sharpsburg, and at the door. Special floor seating is available ONLY via the Action Wrestling website  Doors open at 6:30 pm, bell time is set for 7:30 pm.  A full concession stand will be available and ACTION Wrestling gear will also be on sale.

Abby’s Angels 6th Annual Rainbow Run and Family Fun Day
When, Where
9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Coweta Fairgrounds
Event info: The annual Abby’s Angels Rainbow Run and Family Fun Day will be held Saturday, April 27, at the Coweta Fairgrounds
In addition to the 5K Rainbow fun run, the free Family Fun Day includes music, food, games and a raffle. Funds go to stocking supplies for each “Abby’s Closet” in area schools as well as outreach programs for children in the south metro Atlanta area who have lost a sibling, Abby’s Angels also helps bring programs to drivers of all ages about the hazards of distracted driving.
An onsite Abby’s Closet will be set up this year with school supply donations accepted. Items most needed include college and wide-ruled notebook paper, flash drives, compass, protractors, pencils, mechanical pencils, binders, pens, pencils, scissors and tab dividers.
The school with the most student registrations will receive a free Ken Scott Magic Show.  
Five types of sponsorships are available from Friend ($100) through Firecracker ($2,000) levels. The run is also looking for raffle donors from sponsors.

Hawks Classic 2019 Golf Tournament

Monday, May 6, Newnan Country Club
Event info: The Hawks Classic Golf Tournament will be held Monday, May 6 with proceeds used for expanding the athletic performance center at The Heritage School. The event includes lunch, gift bag and 18 holes. A reception will follow play in the clubhouse. Registration is $100 per player of $400 per team. Multi-level sponsorships which include foursomes are also available. Registration will be held at 9 a.m., with a scramble start set for 10 a.m. For information, contact Heritage School Athletic Director Tommy Amoroso at 678-231-5997 or email [email protected]
