What to know:
The 12th annual Junior Indians Baseball Camp will be held from Monday, June 3-Thursday, June 6, at the East Coweta High Baseball Complex. Camp is for rising kindergarten through 8th graders. Instruction will be age-level driven in small groups to ensure correct skills and techniques. Campers will go over throwing, fielding, pitching, hitting and baserunning to cover all areas of the game. Players should bring a bat (batting gloves if needed), glove and hat, protective cup, cleats/tennis shoes and proper athletic clothing. Catchers may bring gear with specific instruction held in a breakout session one day during the camp. All campers will receive a Junior Indians Camp-T shirt. Athletes will be eligible for Camper of the Day/Week honors with a chance to throw out the first pitch of a varsity baseball game during the 2020 season.

What to Know
For the first time, the girls lacrosse programs of Northgate and East Coweta high schools are collaborating on a skills camp for rising 3rd-8th graders. The camp will help build a foundation of lacrosse skills while also enhancing skills already in place. Attack and defensive skills such as passing catching, shooting, cradling, defense positioning, and transition will be introduced and advanced depending on the skill of the participant. Most importantly, the campers will have a great time acquiring new skills and refining existing ones, while making new friends. Also, each camper will receive a NorthEast Coweta Lacrosse Camp t-shirt. The coaching staffs from both Northgate and East Coweta High Schools will lead the camp, along with the current players of both schools. Campers should wear appropriate clothing, and bring both tennis shoes and cleats. They will need a mouth guard, and bring a water bottle. The varsity coaching staff and players present a hands-on, high-energy experience with a commitment to teaching fundamentals and individual skills to all ages and skill levels. Camp will be held rain or shine and indoor facilities will be available for campers in the event of inclement weather.
